From Pediatrics this week, more evidence showing the importance of vitamin D in the maternal diet:
Higher circulating concentration of maternal 25(OH)D3 in pregnancy was associated with improved mental and psychomotor development in infants.
If you are pregnant, please make sure you are taking the appropriate prenatal vitamin every day. Talk to your obstetrician about what is the best vitamin for you. Most importantly, make sure you continue to eat a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals.
