Katie Sullivan Moreford has eight great ideas for Thanksgiving leftovers that she thinks your family will love:

Thanksgiving hasn’t even arrived yet, and already I’m talking leftovers. That’s because leftovers are the best part of the holiday, even better, in my opinion, than the meal itself. Pumpkin pie never tasted so good as when spooned straight out of the pie plate the morning after. Turkey, cold from the fridge, is at its finest layered up with stuffing and cranberry sauce onto a ridiculous sandwich. And mashed potatoes patted into little cakes and browned in a hot skillet? Yes, please.

The Turkey, Greens and Gruyere Sandwich and the Jack Quesadillas with Cranberry Salsa will be on our post-Thanksgiving leftovers menu — if there are any leftovers!
