Dr. Amy McGarrity (St. Clair Division) reminds us that tomorrow, April 2, is World Autism Awareness Day:
Saturday is the worldwide “Light It Up Blue” day for Autism Awareness. The United Nations, World Health Organization, and Autism Speaks are the forces behind this effort to raise global awareness about children with autism who live everywhere. All around the world, buildings and businesses will be lit up blue — even one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
I’ve bought spotlights for my house!
Autism Speaks suggests three easy ways to get involved tomorrow:
- Pledge to Wear Blue on April 2.
- Help make autism trend online!
- Light your home or business blue!
