Nestled in the rolling hills of Wexford, PA lies the Woodlands, a camp for children and adults with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses. Campers can spend a weekend at the camp during the school year and a whole week during the summer. Everything is adaptable for all the participants including a zip line, par-3 golf course, and an indoor heated pool. While at the facilities, campers work on independence skills and participate in activities that are not accessible to them elsewhere. There is even a two-week span over the summer where the Woodlands hosts the Notes from the Heart Music Camp. Here the participants get exposed to all genres of music and get to expand their musical talents working with musical professionals from members of symphonies and choir directors. Each of these weeks culminates with a concert where the campers are the stars and perform on stage.

The Woodlands is a great place that offers unique opportunities.
