We received more than 200 entries to Pediatric Alliance’s ticket contest to see Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s sensory-friendly performance of The Nutcracker last month at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Pittsburgh. We asked the winners to share a few memories and photos from their experience:

My family and I enjoyed the performance. It was such a great experience. The staff was amazing! The seats were so great! [Our son] sat thru the entire show. Never once got up or moved from his seat! Thanks again for the opportunity to enjoy the show!

Another happy family enjoyed the perennial holiday classic:

We had a wonderful time, thank you!! It was a great experience I didn’t think we’d ever have. Unfortunately I didn’t really take many pictures, but here are a few, mostly from our excellent seats. [Our daughter] refused to participate much but she did have a great time. My 2 little ones are always ready for a picture.

Thank you again!!

Our thanks go to every family who entered our contest for the chance to see this special performance of The Nutcracker. Pediatric Alliance salutes Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s commitment to present this annual tradition for the sake of everyone’s enjoyment!
