Melanie Austin M.D.
Dr. Melanie Austin is a mother of 2 sassy girls and graduate of SUNY Downstate Medical School where she graduated Cum Laude in 2001, then went on to complete her residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 2004. Her medical interests are strongly centered on public health; she promotes universal vaccinations and is an advocate for gun safety in the home, volunteering her time with Moms Demand Action. When she is not caring for babies she enjoys hiking with the family dog and supporting the mental health and wellbeing of local moms.
Joy Drass M.D.
Dr. Joy Drass received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and has been in practice for over 15 years. Dr. Drass served as the Medical Director of Green Meadows Pediatrics Clinic in Columbia, MO before moving to the Pittsburgh area in November of 2014. Dr. Drass spent a year as a staff pediatrician with Children’s Community Pediatrics and then joined Pediatric Alliance Regional Office Division in December of 2015. Dr. Drass has been a Fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2003 and has been named “Best Doctors in America” 2009 – present.
Divna Djokic M.D.
Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Dr. Djokic attended medical school at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and her residency was completed at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. Most recently, she was a Pediatrician for 8 years at Primary Health Care Services in Rankin, Braddock, and West End. She has over 10 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at both the University of Pittsburgh and Stony Brook Hospital and Medical Center in New York. Her specialty is Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Djokic is originally from Belgrade, Serbia and now lives in Wexford with her husband and three children ages 17, 15, and 12. Rounding out the family is their cat, Cookie. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, and cooking.
