Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Dr. Djokic attended medical school at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and her residency was completed at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. Most recently, she was a Pediatrician for 8 years at Primary Health Care Services in Rankin, Braddock, and West End. She has over 10 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at both the University of Pittsburgh and Stony Brook Hospital and Medical Center in New York. Her specialty is Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Djokic is originally from Belgrade, Serbia and now lives in Wexford with her husband and three children ages 17, 15, and 12. Rounding out the family is their cat, Cookie. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, and cooking.
Michael Talotta PA-C
Michael Talotta earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Duquesne University and his MPAS as a Physician Assistant also from Duquesne. Michael worked for 5 years at UPMC Children’s Hospital as a PA in Hematology/Oncology, and prior to that, he worked for a year as a PA at Hope Pediatrics. He also spent some time in Emergency Medicine as PA.
Michael is a native Pittsburgher who was born and raised in the South Hills. However, he now calls the North Hills (Gibsonia area) his home. He has a wife named Nikki and a dog named Goose. In his spare time, Michael likes camping and hiking with Nikki and Goose, and he also enjoys cooking. In addition to leisure activities, Michael is also a volunteer firefighter.
